Google plans to integrate AI chatbot technology into its search features, following Microsoft’s lead. Sundar Pichai, Google’s CEO, discussed the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) in search but did not specify if they would use the error-prone Bard system. Although Pichai didn’t mention a launch date, he acknowledged the vast opportunities this integration presents. While Google has previously used LLMs as back-end systems, it aims to make them directly accessible to users. Despite Bard’s initial inaccuracies, Google is likely to continue pursuing AI chatbot integration due to its potential benefits.
